Character of The Hobbit

In the book The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien the main character is Bilbo Baggins which he is a peaceful and quiet hobbit who tries to avoid advancers in the beginning of the book.

But when Gandalf shows up that all changes. When Gandalf showed up he offered Bilbo with a one and a life time adventure, to embark upon with him and the dwarfs to help reclaim back their king dome from the fears dragon. Bilbo is terrified to go on such an adventure where he might die. But when they all left Bilbo thought long and hard to himself and finely decided that doing this will be in the best of his interest. So Bilbo cot up to them but when he did he still had doubts about going with them.

Further into their journey Bilbo starts to feel quite differently throughout the course of their journey. To Bilbo he had not changed but all of his companies could see that he has become more daring. Like when he outsmarted the trolls to help save everyone from being eaten by the trolls to buy Gandalf more time. He also got even more confident when Bilbo and his companions stumbled across the trolls nest and found himself a very unique weapon that was just for him. Having this weapon that is just his size make Bilbo more protect and learns to fight and protect him and not having to rely on other people as much.

Even further into their journey when they came to a forest called Mirkwood was the moment when Bilbo came the most important person. This is because do to Bilbo keen eyes he could see the best out of everyone in the dark and everyone was grateful to have him. Also while they were in Mirkwood they all got separated from each other and Bilbo then was attacked by a giant spider and he killed it all by himself. To Bilbo this was a grate achievement because he would always need one of the dwarfs help with something like that.

So to Bilbo this advancer has changed him a lot and for the better. I say this because in the beginning he was a very boring character. But now after this thrilling advancer he has become more of an active character. So the change in character help me come up with a theme that is, it is good for a person to get out and try to live life to the fullest while take chances.
